Madhya Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act & Rules

The Madhya Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act and Rules provide for the constitution of a fund for financing and conducting activities to promote the welfare of labour in the State of Madhya Pradesh. Under the Act, both the employee and the employer contribute to labour welfare schemes. A separate board, made up of members from employers, employees, and state representatives, is constituted for this purpose.
