The Haryana Labour Welfare Fund Rules

The Haryana Labour Welfare Fund Rules is an Act to provide for the constitution of a Fund for financing activities that promote the welfare of labour in the state of Punjab, and for conducting such activities and certain other purposes. Haryana follows the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Rules.

RULES:

  • Any Establishment/Employer employing 10 or more persons
  • Applies to all employees employed, directly or through any agency including a contractor, for remuneration in any factory or establishment. The employee contributes 0.2% of salary, wages, or any remuneration, up to a limit of ₹31. The employer contributes to the fund every month, twice the amount contributed by an employee, provided the limit above is revised annually against the consumer price index from 1st January each year.

Applicability
