WFH (Work From Home)

Updated on: October 14, 2026 Sneha Gondhale 1 min read

WFH stands for "work from home," a flexible work arrangement where employees perform their job duties from their personal residence instead of a traditional office. It relies on digital technology, internet connectivity, and communication tools to keep productivity and collaboration with colleagues and clients going.

Many employees set up a dedicated workspace at home and follow company policies while keeping regular hours and meeting performance expectations. WFH became mainstream during the 2020 pandemic and has since evolved into a permanent option for roles that do not require being physically present.
