Universal Account Number (UAN)

The Universal Account Number (UAN) is a unique 12-digit code issued by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in India to individuals who participate in the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF). It makes it easier to track and manage provident fund contributions across an employee’s entire career, even as they move between jobs.
