Tangible Rewards

Updated on: October 14, 2026 Sneha Gondhale 1 min read

Tangible rewards are material rewards, whether that is cash itself or gifts that can be converted into cash. In a business context, this typically looks like salary, bonuses, fringe benefits, pay raises, or a gym or club membership. Between a company and its customers, a tangible reward might be a cashback incentive on a purchase.

These rewards are meant to acknowledge someone’s accomplishments, hard work, or contributions with something concrete, whether that is a monetary bonus, a gift certificate, merchandise, or another physical item with a clear value attached, giving the recipient something real they can use or enjoy.
