Peers

Updated on: October 14, 2026 Sneha Gondhale 1 min read

Peers are people who are typically in the same age group or share similar characteristics and experiences. Within a given group or setting, such as a team of colleagues, fellow students, or friends, they are considered equals.

Peers often provide support, companionship, and a sense of belonging. In both social and professional settings, they also have a real influence on each other’s behavior and opinions.
