Management Styles
Management styles are the principles behind the methods, abilities, and techniques managers use to handle situations and lead within an organization. Broadly speaking, managerial styles fall somewhere between autocratic and permissive, though each style has its own subtleties.
Autocratic managers make decisions without input from other stakeholders, and their interactions with others mostly come down to communicating those decisions. Directive autocrats also supervise subordinates closely, while permissive autocrats give employees some freedom in how they work toward a goal.
