Loss of Pay

Updated on: October 14, 2026 Sneha Gondhale 1 min read

Loss of pay, or LOP, is a day or set of days when an employee does not get paid. This usually happens because the employee has used up the number of leaves their company allots for the year or month, or because the leave they took does not match what the leave policy allows.
