HR Analytics, short for Human Resources Analytics, is the practice of applying analytics to an organization’s HR department, with the goal of improving employee performance and return on investment. It goes beyond just collecting data on employee efficiency.

Instead, the real purpose is to understand what is actually happening in each HR process, then use that data to make better decisions about how to improve it.
