Gamification

Updated on: October 14, 2026 Sneha Gondhale 1 min read

In an employment or HR context, gamification means using game design elements to make workplace systems, processes, or activities more enjoyable and motivating. For example, a company might gamify something mundane like benefits enrollment to make it more engaging.

Gamification shows up across recruiting, learning and development, employee surveys, and other areas of talent management.
