Five Factor Model
The Five Factor Model is a theory built on the Big Five personality traits: openness to new experiences, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. These traits describe stable individual differences, meaning a person can score higher or lower on a trait compared to others, in how people think, feel, and behave.
Each trait breaks down into sub-traits, which lets smaller variations in personality get standardized and tracked.
