Employee Clearance

Updated on: October 14, 2026 Sneha Gondhale 1 min read

Employee clearance, also known as full and final (FNF) settlement, happens when an employee resigns, is terminated, or retires. Before they exit, the company has to clear its own obligations too: finance, admin, and HR typically sign off on paychecks, gratuity, and EPF settlements.

If the employee has a company laptop or other assets, they need to return them to the asset management team.
