Employee Branding
Employer brand is the reputation a company holds in the eyes of job seekers and recruiters. It’s how a company is perceived as a place to work, and it has a direct effect on the quality of candidates it can attract.
Most job seekers do their homework before applying. Platforms like Glassdoor give candidates a window into what working at a company actually looks like, with reviews covering salaries, culture, management, leadership, appraisals, workload, and the hiring process itself. A company with a poor reputation on these platforms will struggle to attract strong candidates, regardless of how competitive its compensation is on paper.
The inverse is also true. A strong employer brand draws qualified candidates in without as much effort, because people actively want to work there. That makes hiring easier, faster, and cheaper over time. For any organization serious about growth, the employer brand isn’t a side concern. It’s a core part of the talent strategy.
