Database management is the process of storing, organizing, and securing important data, typically handled through a Database Management System (DBMS), software designed to organize, store, and retrieve data efficiently. Plenty of DBMS options exist, and many run on cloud-based frameworks now, accessible from pretty much any device, laptop, desktop, mobile, as long as you’ve got the right login credentials.

That setup gives organizations a real layer of protection: full control over their own data, with a safety net in place if something goes wrong, whether that’s theft or sudden hardware failure.
