The Draft Rules were notified in the Himachal Pradesh gazette on 12 November 2021.
Applicability
Once in force, the Draft Rules will extend to the whole state of Himachal Pradesh and will come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
Rules to Be Repealed
On coming into force, the Draft Rules will repeal:
- The Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Condition of Services) Rules, 2008
- The Himachal Pradesh Factories Rules, 1950
- The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Himachal Pradesh Rules, 1974
- The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Himachal Pradesh Rules, 1983
- The Himachal Pradesh Plantations Labour Rules, 1978
