Draft of Code on Social Security (Jammu & Kashmir) Rules, 2021

The Draft Rules shall extend to the territorial jurisdiction of Jammu and Kashmir and shall come into force after their final publication in the Official Gazette, on the date of commencement of the Code on Social Security, 2020.

The Draft Rules upon coming into force shall repeal:

• Jammu and Kashmir Workmen’s Compensation Rules, 1972
• Jammu and Kashmir Payment of Gratuity Rules, 1973
• Jammu and Kashmir Maternity Benefit Rules, 1974
• Jammu and Kashmir Building and Other Constructions Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
• Jammu and Kashmir Unorganised Workers’ Social Security Rules, 2010
