The Manipur government notified the Draft Social Security Rules, 2021 in the gazette on 19 November 2021.
Applicability
Once in force, the Draft Rules will apply across the whole State of Manipur, effective from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. They will repeal three existing regulations:
- Manipur Unorganized Workers’ Social Security Rules, 2016
- Manipur Payment of Gratuity Rules, 1982
- Manipur Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Rules, 1960
