The Delhi government notified the Draft Rules for the Code on Wages in the gazette on 26 November 2021.
Applicability
Once in force, the Draft Rules will apply across the whole of the NCT of Delhi, effective from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette, coinciding with the commencement of the Code on Wages, 2019.
Compliances
The Draft Rules prescribe six forms covering procedures under the Code:
- Form I – Register of wages, overtime, fines, and deductions for damage or loss (Rules 19 & 49(1), (2), (3))
- Form II – Application under Section 45(5) before the authority appointed under Section 45(1) of the Code on Wages, 2019 (Rule 47)
- Form III – Appeal under Section 49(1) of the Code on Wages, 2019 before the Appellate Authority (Rule 48)
- Form IV – Employee register (Rule 49)
- Form V – Wage slip (Rule 50)
- Form VI – Application under Section 56(4) for composition of offence (Rule 52)
