The Uttar Pradesh government notified the Draft Rules for the Code on Wages in the gazette on 25 February 2021.
Applicability
Once in force, the Draft Rules will apply across the whole State of Uttar Pradesh, effective from the date of their publication in the Gazette.
Compliances
The Draft Rules prescribe three forms covering procedures under the Code:
- Form I – Application under Section 45(5) before the authority appointed under Section 45(1) of the Code on Wages, 2019 (Rule 40)
- Form II – Appeal under Section 49(1) of the Code on Wages, 2019 before the Appellate Authority (Rule 50)
- Form IV – Application under Section 56(4) for composition of offence (Rule 54)
