A CFO, or Chief Financial Officer, is one of the top C-suite roles, responsible for the company’s finances overall: monitoring cash flow, handling financial planning, and assessing where the company stands financially, both its strengths and its weaknesses.

The CFO is often the third-highest position in a company and tends to play a significant part in shaping strategy. They report to the CEO, work alongside other senior leaders, and have a real hand in the company’s financial health and broader success.
