Employers of a factory or establishment must register within 15 days of the ESI Act becoming applicable to them, and obtain an Employer’s Code Number — used on all ESIC forms and documents, and for correspondence with ESIC offices.
Registration and related activities under the ESI Scheme are done through the ESIC online portal.
