Change Management
Change management is the systematic approach an organization uses to handle shifts, internal and external alike, whether that’s adopting new technology, rolling out a new corporate strategy, implementing new tools, or bringing in new knowledge and resources.
It’s not just about the change itself, though. It also covers preparing employees for what’s coming, supporting them through the transition, and monitoring how things go both before and after the change takes effect. Done well, it looks less like a generic playbook and more like managing a full-scale project. The goal, ultimately, is to roll out new processes, products, or strategies while keeping the fallout, whatever disruption or resistance comes with change, to a minimum.
