Business Agility

Business agility is an organization’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to change, whether that change comes from inside the organization or from shifts in the market, technology, or competitive landscape.

It’s not a single capability but a combination of factors: how the culture handles uncertainty, how leadership makes decisions under pressure, how strategy gets adjusted when conditions shift. Organizations with genuine business agility don’t just survive disruption; they’re able to move faster than competitors who are still trying to stabilize.

In practice, that means structures that can reorganize around new priorities without months of deliberation, the ability to innovate without waiting for market conditions to settle, and leaders who can operate effectively even in complex, fast-moving environments.
